315 AW Airmen STEP II next level

315th Airlift Wing officials have released the Fiscal Year 2017 STEP II promotion list today, and 12 wing members have been selected with an Oct. 1, 2017 effective promotion date.

This year’s selectees are:

Master to Senior Master Sergeant

Traci Johnson, 317th Airlift Squadron
Barbara Sosebee, 315th Force Support Squadron
Timothy Stuhler, 315th Security Force Squadron


Tech to Master Sergeant

Harrilyn Rowe, 560th REDHORSE Squadron
Brian Farmintino, 300th AS
Joshua Hawkins, 701st AS
Candido Higuera, 701st AS
James Jordan, 315th Maintenance Squadron
Jeremiah Johnson, 315th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron


Staff to Technical Sergeant

The Stripes for Exceptional Performers II, formally known as the Promotion Enhancement Program, is a commander’s program designed to promote outstanding and well-deserving Air Force Reserve Airmen in Category A, members assigned to a unit, and Category B, Individual Mobilization Augmentees to one grade above the authorized grade for their position. STEP II also applies to Category E or Participating Individual Ready Reserve members for E-6 through E-9 promotions. Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command establishes STEP II quotas, which are determined by manning levels.
