Two M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles stand ready for upload at Hunter Army Airfield, Ga. Dec. 11, 2014. The vehicles were used as cargo during a two-day exercise which integrated C-17 air and ground crew training for 315th Airlift Wing Airmen stationed at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. as well as Soldiers from one of the 3rd Infantry Division’s Immediate Ready Companies stationed at Fort Stewart, Ga. Soldiers from the U.S. Army’s 3rd Infantry Division stationed at Fort Stewart, Ga. lay plywood on the ramp of a C-17 Globemaster III Dec. 11, 2014 as they prepare to load two M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles at Hunter Army Airfield, Ga. The mission was part of a two-day exercise which integrated C-17 air and ground crew training for 315th Airlift Wing Airmen stationed at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. as well as Soldiers from one of the 3rd Infantry Division’s Immediate Ready Companies who can deploy within 22 hours. First Sergeants from across the 315th Airlift Wing interact with patients at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina Dec. 7, 2014 as part of a community outreach event. In addition to meeting several veterans, the first sergeants also had the opportunity to get a firsthand look at various parts of the medical center. The Ralph H. The center is named after Johnson, who was born in Charleston and was later awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously for his service in Vietnam.
