JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. --   As we approach the final planning stages for Air Expo 2011, the Air Show Committee wants to ensure you are aware of the following gate and road closures that will be necessary to accommodate demo team arrivals/practice shows during the upcoming days.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6
1220-1400 - Rivers Gate-OPEN. Aviation Avenue from South Aviation to Midland Park Road will be CLOSED. Ward Avenue and Jet Park Drive will also be CLOSED. Rivers Gate will remain OPEN to Midland Park Road.

THURSDAY, APRIL 7
1330-1515 - Rivers Gate-OPEN. Aviation Avenue from South Aviation to Midland Park Road will be CLOSED. Ward Avenue and Jet Park Drive will also be CLOSED. Rivers Gate will remain OPEN to Midland Park Road.

FRIDAY, APRIL 8
1330-1545 - Rivers Gate-OPEN. Aviation Avenue from South Aviation to Midland Park Road will be CLOSED. Ward Avenue and Jet Park Drive will also be CLOSED. Rivers Gate will remain OPEN to Midland Park Road.

SATURDAY, APRIL 9 ***AIR SHOW DAY***

1400-1630 - Rivers Gate-CLOSED. Aviation Avenue from South Aviation to Midland Park Road will be CLOSED. Ward Avenue and Jet Park Drive will also be CLOSED. Rivers Gate Air Show Access will cease at 1400, and will allow outbound traffic from 1500-1630 through Midland Park Road. Full outbound will begin at approximately 1630.

SATURDAY, APRIL 9 **UPDATE**
PLEASE NOTE THAT MILITARY MEMBERS WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE BASE THROUGH THE COMMISSARY GATE AT APPROXIMATELY 2 P.M. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY ENTRANCE ONCE THE TRAFFIC FLOW REVERSES.
