JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C --  

A virtual pin on ceremony was held for Col. William Roff, the newly named Readiness and Integration Organization Commander of Detachment 8, Stuttgart, Germany, May 16, 2020. Due to the unit training assembly being held virtually, all change of command and promotional pin-on ceremonies, in conjunction with unit training, had to be held online.

 

During Roff’s speech that he gave after the pin on, Roff spoke about the leadership that helped shape and mold the Air Force, our current leaders, and himself.

 

“We take this opportunity to develop teams, work together, and build something better,” said Roff.
