Health and wellness fair draws Armed Services Blood Progam

The Armed Services Blood Program participated in the 315th Airlift Wing health and wellness fair Oct. 2 at the Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Charleston Fitness and Sports Center.
 
The ASBP is the official U.S. military blood program, and each donation serves as a vital link to military service members and their families worldwide.

Home to the ASBP is Kendrick Memorial Blood Center located in Fort Gordon, Ga. KMBC is part of the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center.

According to their Web site, they are committed to providing the highest quality blood products to servicemembers and their families worldwide. They are dedicated to continually improving their ability to collect, process, and ship blood into theater quickly. They strive to provide the safest and freshest blood possible downrange, as well as for our patients in military hospitals both CONUS and OCONUS.
