Command section
The commander's secretary is responsible for day-to-day scheduling of the commander and vice commander's calendar.
The executive officer is responsible for ensuring policies of the wing commander are carried out and manage the effectiveness and status of wing programs and activities.
Performance planning
The Performance planning office manages the abundance of plans the wing encounters to include everything from wing Unit Compliance Inspections to the Combined Federal Campaign to wing picnics.
Inspector general
The inspector general office provides policy guidance, procedures, planning, oversight and direction for implementing the Air Force and wing IG system, complaints program and the Fraud Waste and Abuse Program.
Public affairs
Public affairs is responsible for advising the wing commander on public affairs activities, directs community relations programs and coordinates visits for national civic, education and business groups, as well as local, regional and national news media.
Staff judge advocate
The staff judge advocates office is the primary legal adviser to the wing and provides advice and written opinions on military justice, disciplinary matters, discharge and other administrative actions. They also interpret laws, regulations and directives.
Safety
Safety advises the commander on all issues of safety regarding aircraft and ground operations and manages the reporting of mishaps.
Military equal opportunity
Military equal opportunity office works closely with the vice wing commander and inspector general on all ongoing discrimination complaints and advises the wing commander on human relation and equal opportunity climate in the wing.
Historian
The wing historian provides a variety of history related services, of which the most important duty is to collect historical data from each of the wing's units that is organized and compiled into the annual 315th AW history. In addition, The historian assembles and maintains several displays chronicling the wing's long and rich history.
Other duties include answering historical inquiries from researchers, maintaining the lineage and honors of the wing and its units and advising the wing's senior leadership on past trends and policies.
Chaplain
The chaplain's office is responsible for regular visitation and interaction with the wing members and for all religious activity within the wing.
Financial management
The financial management office provides technical advice and assistance to the commander on all matters relating to financial management and ensures members' pay issues are handled in a timely matter.
