MAJOR UNIT/FORCE STRUCTURE:

·         The 315th Airlift Wing is an Air Force Reserve C-17 wing with an airdrop, aeromedical evacuation, and combat camera mission.

·         The 315th Airlift Wing falls under the Fourth Air Force, which falls under the Air Force Reserve Command.

·         Subordinate units of the 315th AW include: 315th Operations Group: 315th Operation Support Squadron, 300th Airlift Squadron, 317th Airlift Squadron, 701st Airlift Squadron, 315th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, and 4th Combat Camera Squadron 315th Maintenance Group: 315th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, and 315th Maintenance Squadron 315th Mission Support Group: 315th Force Support Squadron, 315th Security Forces Squadron, 38th Aerial Post Squadron, 81st Aerial Port Squadron, 315th Military Personnel Flight, 315th Communications Operations Flight, 315th Logistics Readiness Squadron, 315th Civil Engineering Flight  (560th REDHORSE Squadron is supported by 315th MSG.)
