COMMANDER EXTENDS MISSION ESSENTIAL ONLY ORDER
Joint Base Charleston and the 315 AW remain in a "Mission Essential personnel only" operational status until Saturday, Jan. 25.
The commander has issued a maximum telework order for Friday, Jan. 24 for non-mission essential personnel. If you have any questions, contact your supervisor. Please share with your fellow coworkers.

WINTER WEATHER WARNING
Due to the inbound inclement weather, leaders are authorized the following base posture for the next 3 days.
**Tuesday 21 Jan – 1200L Early release for all non-mission essential employees. Team members with the ability to telework will resume in a telework status. Civilians unable to telework will be on Admin leave.
- Childcare: CDCs will close at 1600L or once all children are picked up from care. Parents are expected to pick up children upon release from work. SAP after school care will be closed.
**Notification regarding anticipated need for childcare on 22 Jan will be sent to all parents the morning of 21 Jan with a deadline of 1300L to report.
- Pharmacy: The pharmacy will remain open until 1500L
- DECA Commissaries: Both AB and WS Commissaries will close at 1400L
- AAFES and NEX: Main Stores and Gas Stations will close at 1400L
**Wednesday 22 Jan – Mission Essential only report to base. Max telework. Civilians unable to telework will be on Admin leave.
- Childcare: FSS support need for care as identified by 1300L 21 Jan
Thursday 23 Jan – 1000L delayed reporting
- Childcare: CDCs will open for care by 1000L. SAP will open for after school care.
- DECA Commissaries: Both AB and WS Commissaries will reopen by 1100L
- AAFES and NEX: Main Stores will reopen by 1000L. Gas Stations will open by 0900L
**The base will resume normal ops on Friday 24 Jan.
Civilians previously scheduled for LA or SL for any of these days will remain as such and not be coded as Admin leave.
