Reservists participate in large formation exercise
Several C-17 Globemaster III aircraft fly into position for the final approach to Joint Base Charleston, S.C. after completing a day of training exercises. Aircrews from the 437th and 315th Airlift Wings at Joint Base Charleston conducted a large formation exercise (LFE) consisting of 13 C-17 Globemaster III aircraft Wednesday, April 9, 2013. The mission included a variety of training exercises consisting of airdrops, aerial refueling and low level tactical training.
