A C-17 Globemaster III performs an aerial refueling manuever with a KC-135 Stratotanker during a recent training mission. Aircrews from the 437th and 315th Airlift Wings at Joint Base Charleston conducted a large formation exercise (LFE) consisting of 13 C-17 Globemaster III aircraft Wednesday, April 9, 2013. The mission included a variety of training exercises consisting of airdrops, aerial refueling and low level tactical training.
