315th Airlift Wing commander Col. James Fontanella trains with the wing's developmental training flight today on the McCombs running path here at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Fontanella took part in the run in an effort to encourage the trai...nee's as they prepared for the physical training demands they will face when they arrive at basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. The developmental training flight trains future airmen, who have enlisted and are awaiting placement in BMT, in customs and courtesies, Air Force traditions as well as physical training.
