Paris air show
Members of the 315th and 437th Airlift Wings, Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., participated in the International Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, France, 18 June 2009. Le Bourget airfield is located 10 miles north of Paris and was made famous as the landing spot for aviation pioneer Charles Lindbergh’s trans-Atlantic flight in 1927. The event drew nearly 2,000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and 300,000 spectators. (courtsey photo)
