315th ALCF North Field 2014

Soldiers from the U.S. Army’s 3rd Infantry Division stationed at Fort Stewart, Ga. and Airmen from the 315th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. work to properly position an M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle in the cargo compartment of the C-17 Globemaster III Dec. 11, 2014 at Hunter Army Airfield, Ga. The vehicle was used as cargo during a two-day exercise which integrated C-17 air and ground crew training for 315th Airlift Wing Airmen stationed at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. as well as Soldiers from one of the 3rd Infantry Division’s Immediate Ready Companies who can deploy within 22 hours. Four C-17’s were used during the exercise to deploy and redeploy two Abrams M1A2 tanks, an M88 recovery vehicle and two M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
