Total Force recruiting philosophy pays off personally for current and future Airmen
Staff Sgt. Ashley Edwards takes the oath of enlistment from Lt. Col. Sandra Bonney, who at the time was the Air Force ROTC commander at the University of North Texas. Edwards’ husband, Tech. Sgt. Corey Edwards, is an active-duty recruiter who works next door to Master Sgt. Michael Hammers, a Reserve recruiter. Through their working relationship, Hammers was able to enlist Edwards, who previously served 10 years of active duty as a weather technician, to the Reserve. She will continue her military career at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, working in education and training. (Courtesy photo)
