Chief Master Sgt. Ronnie Phillips, former 437th Airlift Wing command chief, and Navy Capt. Kevin Byrne, 628th Air Base Wing Deputy Joint Base commander, lay a wreath during a retreat ceremony Sept. 18, 2020, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Airmen from the base volunteered to carry the flag for 24 hours and held a Retreat ceremony at the end of the duty day in honor of the POW/MIA service members.
