Citizen Airmen participate in Delta veterans appreciation event

Many veterans awaited the Citizen Airmen from the 701st Airlift Squadron, JB Charleston, that flew a Charleston C-17 Globemaster III to Atlanta, Georgia, to participate in the 10th Anniversary Delta Veterans Appreciation Day, Nov 3-4, 2021, at Delta TechOps. “The Air Force has given me so many opportunities,” Maj. Andy Bean, a 701st AS C-17 and Delta pilot, said. “I’m grateful that I get to live my passion and fly for the Air Force, I absolutely love the opportunity I have to fly with Delta.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech.
