A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III from Joint Base Charleston deploys flares as part of a training event over the Atlantic ocean in a military operating area (MOA) outside Charleston, South Carolina, June 5, 2021. The C-17 is capable of rapidly and strategically delivering troops and all types of cargo to MOAs or forward-operating bases in deployment areas.
