Air Force Airman Paul Wheeles, 325th Operations Support Squadron weather apprentice, assesses average wind speeds with a handheld weather sensor at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., Oct. 7, 2024. The weather flight uses handheld weather sensors to gather real-time, accurate measurements of wind speed, humidity, temperature, wind chill and barometric pressure.
