JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The 315th Airlift Wing selection boards for the Airman, Non-commissioned Officer, Senior Non-commissioned Officer, Company Grade Officer, Field Grade Officer selected the following winners for the July – September 2018 quarter:
- Airman of the Quarter: Senior Airman Jasmin Schafer, 315th Aircraft Maintenance Group
- NCO of the Quarter: Tech. Sgt. Steven Smith, 315th Security Forces Squadron
- Senior NCO of the Quarter: Senior Master Sgt. Scott Boone, 315th SFS
- CG Officer of the Quarter: Capt. Adam Malson, 300th Airlift Squadron
The Civilian of the Quarter board selected the following winners
- Cat I: Amanda Hutchison, 315th Maintenance Group
- Cat II: Jonathan Lehn, 315th AMXS
“I would like to extend my congratulations to all of the winners above who were chosen for their outstanding achievements in the representation of the 315th Airlift Wing,” said Col. Gregory Gilmour, 315th Airlift Wing commander. “These are very special honors and it gives me great pleasure to recognize them.”
Units that put forth the effort to nominate their deserving personnel for awards are to be commended Gilmour added. “I urge commanders to continue to take the time to nominate people for these important morale-building awards.”
Plaques will be awarded during the next wing award ceremony.
