Reserve loadmasters participate in South African Exposition

Three loadmasters from the 315th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. participated in the 2012 Africa Aerospace and Defense Exposition here, Sept. 22-23.

The exposition partnered U.S. military members with the South African air force and allowed the 315 AW  Airmen to showcase the capabilities of the U.S. Air Force Reserve and speak to young adults who are part of the South African Youth Development Program.

According to event coordinators 3,000 children participated in the YDP over the weekend and more than 100,000 visitors attended the event which filled seven hangars with displays and included over 90 aircraft, land vehicles and watercraft.
