JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. --  Please take the time this weekend to remember and reflect on why we have a long holiday weekend this time of the year. Memorial Day honors Veterans throughou tour  history who have paid the ultimate price for freedom.  The men and women of the 315th Airlift Wing are thankful for the sacrifices that Veterans have made over the past 200 plus years to promote democracy and freedom.

We also urge everyone to think safety over the long weekend as we hit the roads and waterways to spend time with family and friends.   Don't drink and drive, and always wear seatbelts.
