South Carolina has two official FEA's located in Charleston and Columbia. In Charleston alone there are nearly 90 federal agencies, major military commands, and elected federal officials. Agency participation is on the rise and the FEA is constantly encouraging new members to join their efforts.
The Charleston FEA meets on the second Thursday of the month in a working lunch forum. The FEA speaker program invites prominent federal, state, and commercial organizations to address the group on pertinent issues including emergency preparation, agency coordination, federal programs and initiatives, and interface with complementing organizations.
