315th Airlift Wing Quarterly Award board announces winners

JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. --  The 315th Airlift Wing selection boards for the airman, noncommissioned officer, senior noncommissioned officer, junior officer and field grade officer have selected the following winners for January to March 2012.

Airman of the Quarter :
Senior Airman James Haynes, 315th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron

NCO of the Quarter :
Tech. Sgt. Jane Cowan, 315th Aerospace Medicine Squadron

SNCO of the Quarter:
Master Sgt. Kevin Brackett, 315th Maintenance Squadron

Company Grade Officer or the Quarter:
Capt. James Grzech, 315 AMDS

Field Grade Officer of the Quarter:
Maj. Mary Jeffrey, 701st Airlift Squadron

"I would like to extend my congratulations to all the winners above who were chosen for their outstanding achievements in the representation of the 315th Airlift Wing. These are very special honors and it gives me great pleasure to recognize them," said Col. Steven Chapman, 315AW commander.

Plaques will be awarded during the next wing award ceremony.

"Units that put forth the effect to nominate their deserving personnel for awards are to be commended," Colonel Chapman added. "I urge commanders to continue to take the time to nominate people for these important morale-building awards."
