Changes to 315th Computer Support

JOINT BASE CHARLESTON SC --  315th Airlift Wing Computer Support has been tasked by AFRC and AF directives to implement a Communications Focal Point (CFP) for the wing. This means that all communications functions will be consolidated to a central location within the 315th Force Support Squadron.

At this time, the consolidation affects UTA weekends only. The CSTs will be located in the respective offices within the groups during the week but on UTA weekends they will be located in Bldg 51, room 116, the 315 FSS CFP.

Starting January UTA weekend, the contact number for all computer support is 963-2050 for UTAs only. In the near future, we will migrate to the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) concept where ALL computer related issues will be handled by centralized help desk and our CFP will be utilized for "touch maintenance" only. The ESD concept provides 24/7 Helpdesk services for all users.
