Arrive early!
Gates will open to the public for incoming traffic at 8 a.m. with one way traffic on base to ensure a smooth flow of traffic. Traffic on base will reverse with all lanes open to exiting traffic only beginning at 2 p.m.

Don't wait until the last minute to come out to see the Thunderbirds because the Rivers/Aviation gate will be closed while the Thunderbirds perform (no traffic in or out will be allowed).

Aviation Avenue will be closed by SC DOT for the duration of the Air Show. Motorists are encouraged to avoid this area.

Traffic lights and intersections of Dorchester Rd. from Montague Ave. to Ashley Phosphate Rd. will be manned by North Charleston police officers and Charleston Country Sheriff's to ensure a smooth traffic flow. Once on base you will be directed to the event parking area.
