Congratulations 4th quarter award winners

JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. --  Selection boards for Airman, Noncommissioned Officer, Senior Noncommissioned Officer, Junior Officer, and Field Grade Officer selected the following winners for October to December 2010:

- Airman of the Quarter, Senior Airman Spencer Taylor, AMXS
- NCO of the Quarter, Staff Sgt. Quincy Whitner, 81 APS
- SNCO of the Quarter, Master Sgt. Lawrence Anderson, 81 APS
- Company Grade Officer of the Quarter, Capt. Michael Chrapkiewcz, 300 AS
- Field Grade Officer of the Quarter, Maj. Gregory Schnurrenburger, 317 AS

I would like to extend my congratulations to all of the winners above who were chosen for their outstanding achievements in the representation of the 315th Airlift Wing. These are very special honors and it gives me great pleasure to recognize them. Plaques were awarded during my December Commander's Call to the winners who were present.

Units that put forth the effort to nominate their deserving personnel for awards are to be commended. I urge commanders to continue to take the time to nominate people for these important morale-building awards.
