Commander, 22nd Air Force, visits Joint Base Charleston Published Nov. 7, 2010 By 315th Airlift Wing Public Affairs JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Major General James T. Rubeor, commander, 22nd Air Force headquartered at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Georgia, visited with the men and women of the 315th Airlift Wing here at Joint Base Charleston Nov. 5-7. Since assuming command in April 2009, General Rubeor has made it his goal to visit with every unit within the realm of the 22nd Air Force to make sure everyone has the necessary facilities and training they need to complete the mission. During his stay at Charleston, the general had the opportunity to tour each area of the 315th AW. He took the time to recognize top performers as well as speak with members of the unit ranging from junior enlisted, first sergeants, and squadron and group commanders.
