The 315th Airlift Wing hosted a 5K run Oct. 2 at Joint Base Charleston, S.C.

The run was in honor of Chief Master Sgt. Ben Futrell who is retiring as the 315 AW command chief master sergeant.

Many members of the 315 AW have acknowledged that Chief Futrell is a role model of fitness. He exercises daily, he has competed in and won numerous triathlons, and he has been an inspiration to many Air Force Reserve members with the 315 AW. At his current pace, it doesn't appear he will be slowing down any time soon.
