Visitors get a first hand look at Denton Humanitarian Assistance Program

Ken Hundermer, loadmaster with the 317th Airlift Squadron, Charleston Air Force Base S.C. and manager of the Denton Humanitarian Assistance Program here, lead members from U.S. Transcom and the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency on a tour of a C-17 June 23.

The visitors were able to see a C-17 and the Aerial Port on thier visit to gain a better understanding of the Denton Program.

The Denton Program allows donors to use space available on U.S. military cargo aircraft to transport humanitarian goods and equipment to countries in need.
