Wing picnic celebrates Air Force Families Published June 13, 2010 By 315th Airlift Wing Public Affairs CHARLESTON AFB S.C. -- Reservists from the 315th Airlift Wing here at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., came out in full force along with their families and friends for a free picnic held on base Saturday, June 12. The picnic celebrated the 2010 Year of the Air Force Family. The event boasted free food and lots of entertainment for all. While the adults grooved to the tunes of "The First Class Band," the kids had tons of fun bouncing about on giant inflatables like "Jurassic Adventure" and the "Surf and Slide" from Kids Zone. Another big crowd pleaser included the classic car show and also making a stop at the picnic was the 315th Airlift Wing's Mini C-17. For more photos of the Family Day Picnic check out our slideshow.
