38th APS welcomes new commander

Lieutenant Colonel Jerome McLin assumed command of the 38th Aerial Port Squadron, Charleston Air Force Base S.C. during a ceremony here June 13.

Lt. Col. McLin assumed command from Lt. Col. Charles Drouillard who took command of the 81st APS in May.

Lt. Col. McLin began his career at Charleston AFB in 1981 and received his commission in the Air Force Reserve through the deserving airman program ten years later. Lt. Col. McLin served as the operations officer for the 81st APS prior to assuming his new command.
