Security forces Airmen return from Iraq Published Aug. 19, 2009 By Tony Clark 315 Airlift Wing Public Affairs CHARLESTON AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Thirteen Airmen from the 315th Airlift Wing's Security Forces Squadron, Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., returned to Charleston yesterday after more than six months in Iraq. The Air Force Reserve security forces members were deployed to Kirkuk Air Base, Iraq, since February and were responsible for base defense. Their duties included police services, perimeter patrol, entry control, flight-line security, on-base investigations and searches of all vehicles and personnel entering the installation.
