315th Announces Annual Award Winners

CHARLESTON AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --  The selection boards for the 2008 Annual Award Winners are as follows:

- Civilian of Year, Mr. Thomas Lee 315 AMXS

- Airman of the Year, SrA Jason Krause 701 AS 

- NCO of the Year ,TSgt Tony Winstead MXS 

- SNCO of the Year, MSgt Kenneth Lewis SFS 

- Company Grade Officer of the Year Capt Taylor Adams AMXS 

- Field Grade Officer of the Year Maj Mary Jeffrey 701 AS 

- First Sergeant of the Year CMSgt Gigi Manning AMXS

I would like to extend my congratulations to all of the winners above who were chosen for their outstanding achievements in the representation of the 315th Airlift Wing. These are very special honors and it gives me great pleasure to recognize them. Plaques will be awarded during the next Wing Award Ceremony.

Units that put forth the effort to nominate their deserving personnel for awards are to be commended. I urge commanders to continue to take the time to nominate people for these important morale-building awards.
