Charity begins at home Published Nov. 21, 2007 By Lisa Sweatt 315 Airlift Wing Family Support CHARLESTON AFB, S.C. -- It's the holiday season and a time for all of us to reflect on the blessings we have in our lives. While not all of us have a life without worry, we still have many things to be grateful for in our lives. As in years past, the wing has had many births of new children to celebrate, as well as marriages and anniversaries. We have also had our share of sadness, with members of the 315th passing, both reservists, their sons or daughters, mothers or fathers, friends and loved ones. All of these occasions allow us a time of reflection to cherish those people who have touched our lives. If you know of anyone in our 315th family that may also need some assistance this year, please let our office know as soon as possible. It always amazes me on how much we are truly 'family' and reach out to help those whose needs are greater than ours. Let's make 2007 a year to remember for all the gifts we have, and are able to share with others.
