NSPS Infomation now available Published June 22, 2007 By 315th AW/PA Charleston Air Force Base -- Members of the 315th Airlift Wing can now find information on the National Security Personnel System on the unit's public drive. The folder, which is accessible only on networked computers, is located at \\dkfxds01\315aw_public$\NSPS, and contains information on timelines, rules and authorities. According to the NSPS Web site, the system is "a new, flexible civilian personnel system that will enable the Department of the Air Force to better meet the national security demands of the twenty-first century. NSPS includes a new labor relations system, a new appeals process and an enhanced human resources system, covering staffing, workforce shaping, recruitment, compensation (pay banding) and performance management (pay for performance)."
