April Historical coin honorees

Charleston Air Force Base, S.C. --  The following people were awarded the wing's historical coin during the months of November and December. 

Ms. Rose Alvarez, 315th Mission Support Squadron, was awarded coin number 0047 for providing exceptionally faithful service to the 315 AW and the personnel community for 33 years. 

Col. Mike Speer, 701st Airlift Squadron, was awarded coin number 0048 for his dedication to the wing since 9-11. His stellar performance as chief pilot of the 300th AS and commander of the 701st AS has earned him the right to be honored in the wing's history.

The 315th Airlift Wing Historical Coin is a numbered coin presented by the wing commander to individuals for outstanding achievement. Supervisors may submit their deserving individuals by sending a short justification to 315AW.PA-1@charleston.af.mil. For questions concerning submission criteria, contact Capt.
