JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Maj. William Dickenson, took command of the 315th Logistics Readiness Squadron from Maj. Franklin Rinaca during a ceremony, here, Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019.
Col. Robert DeGregorio, 315th Mission Support Group commander, officiated the change of command ceremony and passed the guide on from outgoing commander, Rinaca to Dickenson.
Dickenson previously served in the 81st Aerial Port Squadron. Rinaca goes on to an assignment with Air Force Reserve Command A1 personnel and administration at Robbins Air Force Base, Georgia.
With roughly 60 people assigned to the unit, the 315 LRS directs and supervises logistics planning for all contingencies, operations and exercises for the 315th Airlift Wing, while providing operational interpretation of war plans to task units and guidance for time-phased material and personnel. The 315th LRS also provides prompt administration and management of a full range of support functions to include logistics plans, fuels management, vehicle maintenance, and supply.
