The 315th Airlift Wing recognized its top performers for the first quarter of calendar year 2025, honoring seven outstanding Airmen and civilians for their dedication, performance, and commitment to excellence.

The quarterly awards, which highlight exceptional achievements from January through March 2025, were selected by a board of senior leaders across multiple categories.

The winners are:

  • Airman of the Quarter: Senior Airman Noah M. Blankenship, 317th Airlift Squadron
  • Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter: Tech. Sgt. Samantha G. Caughman, 38th Aerial Port Squadron
  • Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter: Master Sgt. Kendra P. Jones, 38th Aerial Port Squadron
  • Company Grade Officer of the Quarter: Capt. Ernie R. Hightower, 38th Aerial Port Squadron
  • Civilian of the Quarter, Category I: Patricia M. Parrish, 317th Airlift Squadron
  • Civilian of the Quarter, Category II: Roberta A. Kithcart, 315th Mission Support Group
  • Civilian of the Quarter, Category III: Richard A. Gilbert III, 701st Airlift Squadron

“These are very special honors, and it gives me great pleasure to recognize the outstanding achievements of these individuals,” said Col. Stephen Lanier, 315 AW commander. “Their hard work and dedication are a true representation of the excellence we strive for every day.”

Winners will be formally recognized with plaques during the next scheduled Wing Awards Ceremony. Civilian award recipients will also receive time-off awards, limited to eight hours per policy.

Commanders were also encouraged to continue nominating deserving personnel for these prestigious awards.

“Units that take the time to highlight the accomplishments of their people help build morale and foster a culture of recognition,” Lanier said. “I commend everyone who submitted nominations and encourage continued participation in future quarters.”
