Members of the 315th Operations Support Squadron welcomed a new commander during a change of command ceremony May 15, 2016 at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina.

Lt. Col. Ronald Schier assumed command from Lt. Col. Lara Morrison at the ceremony.

Lt. Col. Morrison was selected as one of only 15 people in the Department of Defense for the Secretary of Defense’s Corporate Fellowship program.  “I am proud of her accomplishments,” said Col. Caroline Evernham, 315th Operations Group commander and officiator for the ceremony.  “I expect great things from her in the future,” she said.

Lt. Col. Schier, was a former director of operations for the 701st Airlift Squadron who transitioned to be a traditional Reservist while flying for Delta Airlines.  “I am excited for Ronnie to take command of the OSS.  I know that he will do great things for the OSS,” said Evernham.
