“Congratulations to all of our Airmen promoted under the CY21 STEP II program," said Chief Master Sgt. John-Paul Burke, the 315th AW command chief. "The name says it all! Stripes for Exceptional Performers II (STEP II) is a unique promotion opportunity reserved for those 'exceptional performers' who are ordinarily blocked for promotion under the unit vacancy program. Not only do these members compete against their peers in their own career field, they compete against the very best the Air Force Reserve Command has to offer. Thus, to be promoted under these circumstances is truly extraordinary and an honor."
