Reservists participate in large formation exercise

Tech. Sgt. Mark R. Corrigan, a loadmaster assigned to the 317th Airlift Squadron at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., monitors cargo exiting a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft during a recent training mission over North Auxiliary Airfield, North, S.C. Aircrews from the 437th and 315th Airlift Wings at Joint Base Charleston conducted a large formation exercise (LFE) consisting of 13 C-17 Globemaster III aircraft Wednesday, April 9, 2013. The mission included a variety of training exercises consisting of airdrops, aerial refueling and low level tactical training.
