Cubs visit 315 AW, Joint Base Charleston

Charleston-based Cub Scouts from Den 5 take a tour of Joint Base Charleston with members of the 315th Airlift Wing Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013. The Cub Scouts, ranging in age from eight to 11, were met by 315 AW Commander, Col. James J. Fontanella who gave a briefing and video presentation at the start of their tour. Their visit concluded with a trip to the 315th Maintenance Group's fabrication shop, and followed with the cubs and their parents climbing aboard a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft to see it up close.
