Cadets from the U.S. Air Force ROTC Detachment 775 examine custom-made aircraft parts Feb. 25, 2011 at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. The cadets watched as the parts were manufactured by computer numerical control systems at Joint Base Charleston, and they learned how metals technology designs and fabricates multiple parts for the day-to –day operations of the base.
