Staff Sergeant Charles Shipman, a Security Forces Airman with the 315th Airlift Wing, Charleston AFB, S.C., receives a coin from Air Force Reserve Command Commander Lt. Gen. Charles E. Stenner Jr., while deployed to Iraq, as a sign of his hard work and dedication to the joint CE/SFS Ballistic Tower project. The Ballistic Tower project’s mission is to replace old dilapidated towers that offered little protection from enemy attacks.
