Staff Sergeant Joseph Speer, a reservist assigned to the 81st Aerial Port Squadron at Charleston AFB, S.C., shares a tender moment with his wife, Elizabeth and meets his son, Joseph Jr. for the first time on January 17, 2009. Staff Sgt. Speer’s son was born while he was deployed to Afghanistan for four months. Staff Sgt.
