Freedom, fortitude and sacrifice: CMSAF commemorates fallen

From right, Air Force Sergeant's Association International President retired Chief Master Sgt. Daniel Yeomans, Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James A. Cody and Air Force Association President retired Gen. Craig McKinley lay a Memorial Day wreath during a ceremony held May 26, 2014, at the Air Force Memorial in Arlington, Virginia. Cody provided the keynote speech, remarking that for him, on Memorial Day, the three spires of the memorial stood for freedom, fortitude and our fallen. Cody then told the crowd that today, and everyday, our fallen are with us in our stories and our memories, and they give us cause to wave our flags. (U.S. Air Force photo/Jim Varhegyi)
