restoring power

628th Civil Engineer crews continue to repair the few power lines on base that were affected. Two building on the Air Base remain without power – the base Chapel and a nearby pump house. But crews expect to have those building back with power sometime Thursday afternoon. Operations resumed to normal at Joint Base Charleston and the 315th Airlift Wing after yet another winter storm struck the Lowcountry this week, which left many without power after as much as a quarter inch of ice brought tree limbs down in outlying neighborhoods.
