315 AW Airmen conduct joint training with local Army Reserve soldiers
Airmen from the 317th Airlift Squadron, 38th and 81st Aerial Port Squadrons conduct a joint training scenario with the 1189th Transportation Brigade and the 941st Transportation Company at Joint Base Charleston – Air Base, S.C. March 7-8, 2015. This is the first time these units have facilitated this type of training where both branches of service worked side-by-side, executing weight and balance of vehicles, load planning, cargo buildup as well as the loading of equipment onto a C-17 Globemaster III. Soldiers and Airmen worked together over a two-day period to sharpen various transportation skills needed for their jobs. The 317 AS, 38 and 81 APS are assigned to the 315th Airlift Wing.
