Canada’s fifth CC-177
Members of the 429th Transportation Squadron stand near the crew entrance door of a new CC-177 Globemaster III aircraft during a brief stop at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina March 30, 2015 while en route to 8 Wing Trenton, Ontario to deliver the squadron's fifth CC-177 to the Royal Canadian Air Force. The 429th TS started flying the CC-177 in July 2007, and the primary mission of the squadron is to provide responsive domestic global airlift to support the Canadian armed forces through humanitarian and support missions around the globe.
