Chaplain Candidates 2015
Maj. Adam Fink, 315th Airlift Wing Chaplain Service, tells a group of Air Force chaplain candidates about the many rewarding opportunities available to them as chaplains in the Air Force Reserve. The 315th Airlift Wing Chaplain Service hosted the 18 second lieutenants in an effort to bring the young officers out into the “real Air Force world,” and show them the diversity of people and job specialties at a typical Air Force base. Besides meeting Reserve and active duty Airmen around the base, the group also visited patients at the Charleston VA Medical Center. Over the weekend they were scheduled to participate in the Joint Base Charleston Chapel services with active duty chaplains on the main base and over at the Naval Weapons Station. Weather permitting, they also hope to get a chance to visit the “Holy Cities” many historical churches before they leave. (U.S. Photo by Michael Dukes)
